Learning & Feedback:
Creating a learning environment through increased awareness.
Feedback commonly occurs only during a performance evaluation. Often, if the results indicate the need for improvement, the employee is either defensive or surprised at the results of the evaluation. In some cases, the employee thinks that he/she has been "tried and sentenced" without being aware of the charges or ascribes the results to politicking and misinformation. Effective Organizational Systems offers a series of tools which promote a constructive experience from feedback processes and the creation of a positive learning environment. A "survey questionnaire," designed to facilitate the use of job, group, and individual profiles, provides the participant with a 360 degree feedback of the perceptions others have of the individual's strengths and needs in his/her particular job.
Managing:
Tracking potential by maximizing opportunities and minimizing unproductive
behaviors.
The 360 degree feedback provides valuable
information that allows the employee:
1. To increase those activities and behaviors that constitute strengths
in the job;
2. To develop communication by minimizing surprises, maximizing information,
and avoiding costly misunderstandings;
3. To create a performance evaluation plan;
4. To recognize any gap between one's perception and the perception others
have of one's activities and behaviors;
5. To become aware of, and curtail unproductive behaviors.
